Si Cataluña se independiza, ¿el Barcelona dejaría la liga española?

España vive una crisis económica sin precedentes. Desempleo, empresas quebradas, rescates, descontento generalizado, desesperación, y hasta violencia en las calles. No hay dinero. Tampoco credibilidad en el gobierno de Mariano Rajoy.

A su vez, Cataluña levanta la voz como nunca antes buscando su independencia. Este martes, la manifestación de la Diada reunió a centenares de miles de personas de todas la edades, lo que marcó un antes y un después. Entre ellos, estaba Sandro Rosell, presidente del Barcelona. Y Guardiola, que aunque no estuvo presente, hizo público su voto a favor de la secesión a través de un video desde La Gran Manzana.

De esta forma, el deporte también ha entrado en el terreno político. Guardiola y Rosell hablaron a título personal, pero no es tan fácil deslindarse de lo que ellos representan al ser figuras públicas que representan, y representaron, a una institución.

El primero en juzgar la postura de Guardiola fue Alfonso Pérez, ex internacional español. Crítica las formas y cuestiona al entrenador sembrando la duda de si alguna vez ha sentido felicidad por los triunfos de la selección española, hecho que no debería ser cuestionado, pues Pep defendió, con orgullo y corazón, la bandera de España en muchas batallas y campos de Europa y del mundo. Incluso fue medallista olímpico en Barcelona 1992 y lo festejó como si nunca hubiera ganado una felicidad.

El asunto es que si Cataluña, que pide a gritos la independencia, entre otros motivos por los graves problemas de déficit, deuda y los 700.000 desempleados que tiene en su comunidad, los cuales atribuye al gobierno de España, logra la secesión, ¿el Barcelona, por ende, tendría que competir en otro campeonato diferente a la Liga española? Porque está claro que al ser otro país debería participar en otro torno ajeno al del resto de las comunidades, que sí continuarían formando parte del territorio ibérico.

Si fuera así, sería un gran problema en materia económica y deportiva. La liga española perdería prestigio, poder y dinero. Las televisoras se verían en serios aprietos para recuperar sus inversiones, pues el conjunto azulgrana, junto con el Real Madrid, son los que mayores ganancias les generan.
Por su parte, la selección española caería en una profunda crisis. Al menos ocho internacionales que la representan juegan en el Barcelona. Y el conjunto azulgrana, a su vez, vería afectada su imagen, se cerraría fronteras, competiría contra los pocos equipos de renombre que existen, y con el Espanyol, que también se vería apartado de la Liga.

Es decir, en materia deportiva sería prácticamente inviable, sin embargo, Cataluña, después de la manifestación de esta martes, ha dejado en claro que lo suyo va en serio. Tan en serio, que la coyuntura de la crisis española ha fortalecido a Cataluña, y ésta ha aprovechado para decir que la asfixia económica por la que atraviesa se debe en gran medida por la injusta financiación, que la ha hecho descender de la tercera a la octava posición en el ranking de riquezas de todas las comunidades autónomas, e ineptitud del gobierno central en atacar la crisis. Y el Barcelona, por su parte, entre que son peras o son manzanas, ya piensa en llevar, en su segundo uniforme para la temporada que viene, los colores de la senyera.
