AKRON, OH - DECEMBER 9:Marilu Morales contemplates the future of her family while trying to sort out the possibility receiving food stamps at an apartment she and her four children share with friends on Tuesday, December 9, 2014, in Akron, OH. Marilu's husband, Javier Flores, was deported to his home country of Mexico ten weeks ago, leaving his wife alone to care for their four children. U.S. president Barack Obama's recent executive action to temporarily halt the deportation of illegal immigrants came just a little too late for Javier. With little chance of him returning to the United States anytime soon, Marilu is thinking of moving with her children to join her husband in Mexico. But her return to Mexico is made difficult by the expensive and complicated process of securing passports and travel money.(Photo by Jahi Chikwendiu/The Washington Post via Getty Images)
