Mujeres en el Super Bowl: Humor, sexo y animalitos

El apagón de la última edición del Super Bowl en el imponente Superdome, en Nueva Orleans, casi que fue más importante que el campeón y el reencuentro de Beyonce con Kelly y Michel, las otras integrantes de Destiny's Child, pero los comerciales siguen sin perder el protagonismo, y cada vez más las mujeres cuentan en éstos. Proclamarse campeón es casi igual de importante que insertar un anuncio publicitario en la transmisión y pagar la cifra de 4 millones por 30 segundos o de 8 millones por 1 minuto de transmisión en horario estelar.

Desde hace tiempo, los anunciantes se han percatado que que las mujeres son decisivas en los mensajes publicitarios del Super Bowl, y que aunque el producto no vaya estrictamente dirigido a este sector, ellas influirán en su promoción.

En el 2012, la audiencia del Super Bowl fue de 111 millones de televidentes y las mujeres representaron 51 millones, de acuerdo con Sports Business Daily.

Cada año, la brecha entre el número de televidentes hombres y mujeres que ve el Super Bowl se ha cerrado de tal forma, que en el 2002 la diferencia entre los televidentes hombres y mujeres era de 14 por ciento, en comparación con un 8 por ciento el pasado año.

Entonces los anunciantes han comprendido que tienen que atraer a ese mercado feménino. Las mujeres no sólo siguen teniendo un peso importante en el consumo de productos, sino que con el auge de las redes sociales son quienes también más comentan cuál anuncio les gustó más o no.

De acuerdo con una encuesta realizada por PHD -grupo de estudio de la industria publicitaria en Estados Unidos- entre unas 1000 mujeres que siguen el calendario de juegos de la NFL, un 46 por ciento aseguró que habla más en las redes sociales de los anuncios publicitarios del Super Bowl en comparación con un 36 por ciento de los hombres.

El humor en el mensaje publicitario es vital, de ahí que casi un 60 por ciento de los anuncios decide recurrir a una publicidad con elementos humorísticos pues lo ven como un elemento más de diversion entre la teleaudiencia.

Y para quienes piensan que las mujeres tienen conflicto con la presencia de chicas sexys en las publicidades, todo lo contrario, un 69 por ciento de las mujeres, entre 18 y 59 años, en la encuesta de PHD confesó que le gusta esa proyección sexy de la mujer, pues es algo, que de alguna forma, ellas pueden copiar o buscar similitudes para sus propias vidas.

A las mujeres también les interesa la presencia de mascotas en los anuncios, por eso es que junto con la sexy imagen, el humor, también vienen los animalitos.

Las mujeres están conectadas con el Super Bowl cada vez más. Beyonce no sólo impactó a los hombres, sino a muchas que, irremediablemente establecieron la comparación con sus propias vidas...y hoy todas comentan.
