'Ted': la comedia del año llega en BluRay/DVD

"Ted", la película protagonizada, dirigida y escrita por Seth MacFarlane, famoso por sus programas "Family Guy", "American Dad!" y "The Cleveland Show" llega este martes en estreno de BluRay y DVD, después de haberse convertido en la comedia más exitosa del año, en versión sin censura y varias características especiales.

Cuando eras chico, ¿deseabas que tus juguetes cobraran vida? Bueno, eso es "Toy Story", espera... Más bien, ¿deseabas que tu osito de felpa viviera y fuera tu gran amigo? Es lo que pasa justamente en la trama de "Ted", cuando un solitario niño pide ese deseo y se le cumple a la mañana siguiente. Por supuesto, un oso parlante se convierte en noticia en el mundo entero y pronto "Ted" está apareciendo en revistas y como invitado de talk shows pero, como bien nos dicen... llega un momento en que la popularidad y el interés de la gente decae (¡lo sentimos, Justin Bieber!) y simplemente, ya no les importarás un carajo. Y esto es, antes de los créditos.

Nos adelantamos 27 años después hasta la actualidad, cuando Ted y su dueño John Bennett ya son dos adultos que se la pasan drogándose y disfrutando del programa clásico "Flash Gordon". Sin embargo, la novia de John, Lori (Mila Kunis), tras cuatro años de relación, pronto se harta de este estilo de vida y debe obligarlo a madurar, por lo que... ¿deberá John renunciar a su adorado osito malhablado y lujurioso?

"Ted" tiene sus buenas bromas y secuencias cómicas, destacando aquella en la que Wahlberg intenta adivinar el nombre de la chica white trash que conoció Ted en su trabajo y la pelea que ambos protagonizan en un cuarto de hotel. Quizá lo mejor sean sus cameos, o apariciones especiales de estrellas como Ryan Reynolds, la cantante Norah Jones mofándose de sí misma, Tom Skerrit de "Alien" y hasta Sam Jones, el protagonista de la mencionada "Flash Gordon".

También sobresale Giovanni Ribisi, quien es experto en interpretar chicos desagradables, y aquí lo hace una vez más, como un tétrico tipo que quiere quedarse con Ted para dárselo a su nefasto hijo.

No pude evitar, no obstante, pensar todo el tiempo en Seth MacFarlane (como el "todólogo"), y su voz de Ted remitiéndome a las de Brian y Peter Griffin de "Family Guy". Su adorado proyecto también incluye a sus colaboradores regulares, comenzando por Mila (quien hace la voz de Meg en el show) y pequeños papeles para Patrick Warburton y Alex Borstein.

El BluRay incluye contenido exclusivo, como un detrás de cámaras de la pelea de John y Ted, con todo y Marky Mark (sin su Funky Bunch), enseñando las pompas para recibir nalgadas y varias escenas borradas que aportan más historia de los personajes secundarios (como los compañeros de trabajo de Wahlberg) y una sorprendente secuencia alternativa de la cita de Mila con su jefe, interpretado por Joel McHale de "Community" y "The Soup", con una mujer fisicoconstructivista en la cama.

Además, se incluye el comentario en audio de Seth MacFarlane, el coguionista Alec Sulkin y de Mark Wahlberg, así como un detrás de cámaras de la filmación.

Sin duda, es un gran estreno para estas compras navideñas, de una película que se convirtió en tremendo exitazo de taquilla.
