'Prometheus' debate la existencia de Dios

Hablar de "Prometheus (Prometeo)", la nueva película de Sir Ridley Scott, no es labor fácil, ya que no es una cinta sencilla, en absoluto. Es todo lo contrario. Es un proyecto tremendamente ambicioso que pretende despertar debates, polémica, cuestionamientos de religión y astrofísica, mientras se acobija como una de las cintas de ciencia ficción más interesantes de los últimos tiempos.

Tengo la teoría de que a esta cinta la terminas odiando o amando, no hay de otra. Los fanáticos de la ciencia ficción indudablemente tienen material para discutir por días, semanas enteras, sobreanalizando posibles teorías que no sabrán resolver, pero si por el contrario no te gusta tanto la historia de otros mundos lejanos donde también te aderezan con toques metafísicos, seguramente ésta no es la cinta para ti. De igual manera, no sólo porque te encante la ciencia ficción es garantía de que salgas fascinado de la sala... Lo que sí puede suceder es que todos terminen con un tremendo dolor de cabeza.

Mucho se especulaba de que "Prometeo" sería una especie de precuela a la historia de "Alien", que Scott dirigiera en 1979 y que encaminó a la fama a su protagonista, Sigourney Weaver, además de despertar una nueva oleada de proyectos de ciencia ficción y bichos alienígenas amenazadores.

Por una parte lo es, ya que conectan muchísimos elementos que quedaron como incógnita tras "Alien" y, sin arruinarte nada, los reconocerás perfectamente al verlos en pantalla. Pero "Prometeo" es mucho más que eso, desde la espectacular y casi poética escena de apertura, en donde en un lugar paradisiaco (que bien podría ser la Tierra pero no nos dan más información), un hombre gigante y musculoso ve a su nave espacial abandonarlo y entonces cumple una especie de ritual donde se desintegra en la corriente de agua a la que cae. ¿El origen de vida humana en la Tierra? Va la primera de muchas interrogaciones.

De ahí inmediatamente entramos a la trama, en donde conocemos a una pareja de científicos, interpretados por Noomi Rapace (de la secuela de "Sherlock Holmes" y la trilogía original de "Millennium") y Logan Marshall-Green (actor estadounidense que ha participado en series como "The O.C."). Ellos descubren unas ruinas ancestrales con lo que aparenta ser un mapa estelar, que ya han visto antes en media docena de culturas.

Con el financiamiento de una corporación (que los fanáticos de "Alien" reconocerán al instante), encabezada por Guy Pearce y la fría y seca jefa interpretada por Charlize Theron, viajan con toda una tripulación para descubrir lo que bien podrían ser los orígenes de la humanidad.

Mientras duermen por dos años, para llegar a tal distancia, son custodiados por el androide David (Michael Fassbender), quien tiene el tiempo suficiente para estudiar de todo, dominar el basket y hasta entrometerse en los sueños de Rapace. Un robotito chismoso, éste...

Es justo la "curiosidad" (¿u órdenes?) del androide quien los lleva a descubrir los secretos de la gente del planeta. Pero, ¿acaso son nuestros antecesores? ¿Qué mensaje quieren darnos? ¿O acaso es venganza lo que buscan? ¿Llega en algún momento el alien de la cinta original? Las interrogantes tan solo crecen y crecen, pero tampoco esperes que obtengas suficientes respuestas por parte de Ridley Scott o del guión de Damon Lindelof (del programa "Lost") y Jon Spaihts.

Hay una escena elemental en la película entre Fassbender y Marshall-Green, discutiendo sobre la misión. El androide le pregunta qué era lo que quería conseguir al llegar hasta allá.
Charlie (Marshall-Green): Para obtener respuestas, para conocer a quienes nos hicieron... y por qué nos hicieron.
David (Fassbender): ¿Por qué su gente me hizo a mí?
Charlie: Te creamos porque pudimos.
David: ¿Puede imaginarse lo decepcionante que sería para usted oír lo mismo de su creador?

"Prometeo" está repleta de preguntas filosóficas y religiosas acerca de dónde venimos y qué pasa cuando nos morimos. Además, está impregnado por el debate eterno de "religión contra ciencia". El personaje de Noomi Rapace, la dra. Shaw, siempre trae colgado un crucifijo y, a pesar de que descubre otras cosas en su misión, asegura firmemente que sigue con Dios "porque es lo que he elegido creer".

Entre los cuestionamientos, la cinta hace su despliegue visual impresionante, haciendo el mejor uso del 3D - y, para una experiencia óptima, te recomiendo verla en IMAX 3D. También hay explosiones, muertes sádicas, mutantes, una operación en el quirófano que te dejará boquiabierto y claro, la aparición de los llamados "Ingenieros" del principio de la cinta.

"Prometeo" puede dejarte rascándote la cabeza en confusión y así como tendrá detractores, tendrá fanáticos fervientes esperando una nueva entrega - que Scott ha afirmado que le encantaría hacer. Sea cual sea tu postura al verla, lo que nos deja es un fascinante proyecto para disfrutar a nivel visual y, para pensarle, algo más que bienvenido en este desechable mundo comercial de Hollywood.

No Creo Que sea Para Tanto el Drama.
La Pelicula se vasa En la Evidancia de "Astronautas De la Antiguedad" y la Mescla otras evidencias Arqueologicas y miticas, como la destruccion por los 'DIOSES' Que nos Crearon de Sodomo y Gomorra, La Peste Negra y ahora... en esta ocasion tambien Crearon a Los Aliens para destruir su Propia Creacion, HUMANIDAD.

Ridley Scott at its Best!
Y los Fectos visuales, la trama, el sonido y la Actuacion me cae que elevaron al barra en calidad, paso a The Avengers, pero ahi viene Mi SPIDER MAN, que se ve de pelos.
