Los 'engaños' de Luis Suárez

El fútbol no pasa por sus mejores momentos en cuanto a su credibilidad como deporte. Cada vez más futbolistas buscan engañar al árbitro para intentar sacar ventaja.

Esto no es algo nuevo. Desde hace muchos años ha sido un factor que le ha dado campeonatos o ha resuelto partidos de fútbol en beneficio de un equipo, y que se ha manifestado de diferentes formas.
Echarse un "clavado" en el área para que marquen penalti a favor, usar la mano para meter un gol, que un jugador que no sea el portero detenga el balón deliberadamente con las manos para anular un gol en contra, o sacar ventaja de una posición en fuera de juego, son artimañas que comienzan a incomodar a los clubes.

En los últimos años, Luis Suárez, delantero del Liverpool, un jugador temperamental, habilidoso y polémico, ha proyectado una imagen de engaño que ha calado fuerte en el seno de su equipo.
En los cuartos de final del mundial de Sudáfrica 2010, le quitó un gol legítimo a Ghana al meter las manos como si fuera el portero, que acabó por eliminar al equipo africano de la competencia.
En Inglaterra, se le acusó de haberle "lanzado" comentarios racistas en contra de Patrice Evra del Manchester United, que más tarde negaría, sin embargo, la actitud del jugador galo con él dejaban muchas dudas sobre su "inocencia".

En últimas fechas, se le etiquetó como un jugador tramposo por sus reiteradas veces en que se "aventaba un clavado" dentro del área, buscando que el árbitro cobraba penal a su favor.
Tres hechos y acciones que demuestran que Suárez ha encontrado en el engaño una táctica para beneficiar a su equipo y obtener ventaja, sin embargo, hoy en día es una imagen que él mismo no comparte.

Sean conscientes o inconscientes los engaños de este jugador uruguayo, esto ha llegado al punto de crearle una innecesaria fama que ahora pesa sobre sus hombros como si fuera una pesada loza.
Este próximo fin de semana se enfrentan Chelsea y Liverpool en la jornada 11 de la Barclays Premier League, un partido más agitado por el morbo que por la rivalidad de estos dos clubes.
Lamentablemente, la imagen de ambos clubes se ve ensombrecida por sus respectivos casos de racismo y engaño, que por la calidad de ambos planteles.

¿Cambiarán el Chelsea y el Liverpool sus tristes realidades o seguirán sumergidas en ellas?
