Protecting our children's right to learn and preserving their access to the middle class isn't a partisan issue, it's an American issue. So we ask Congress to act quickly to pass this the Teachers and First Responders Back to Work Bill.

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month and as a survivor of abuse and as mayor of LA, I have worked to leverage every resource at my disposal to end this cycle of violence. But we have our work cut out for us.
