Pobreza e inseguridad afectan al futbol mexicano

Las asistencias a la mayoría de los estadios de fútbol en México, pese a que algunos dirigentes digan lo contrario, son bastante malas. Muchos las atribuyen a la falta de espectáculo. Otros, los menos, a la exagerada cantidad de partidos, entre Liga Mx, Copa Mx y Selección Nacional.

De alguna u otra forma puedo coincidir en ambas apreciaciones, pero me parece que el problema es más de fondo. Juzgue usted.

Habemos cerca de 115 millones de mexicanos, de los cuales más de la mitad viven en situaciones de pobreza y sólo 15.7 millones tienen la fortuna de contar con un empleo digno (salarios fijos y seguridad social). -No me meto en más cifras para no abrumarlo-

Si tomamos en cuenta lo anterior y luego revisamos los precios, por ejemplo, del partido amistoso México-Estados Unidos del pasado 15 de agosto, entenderemos en buena parte la razón por la cual los estadios, en muchísimos casos, lucen más tribunas vacías que ocupadas. El costo del boleto más económico de aquel encuentro fue de 170 pesos (General), pero el resto de las localidades variaron de los 500 a los mil pesos.

Me parece importante mencionar que el promedio del salario mínimo es de 60 pesos diarios. Imposible para la mayorí ir al estadio, mucho menos con la familia.

Algo más. La inseguridad y violencia en México crece a cada momento. Asaltos, secuestros, asesinatos y narcobloqueos se han convertido en el pan nuestro de cada día, lamentablemente. El partido México-Estados Unidos que puse como ejemplo terminó a las nueve de la noche, una hora en la que, por lógica, se incrementa el riesgo. Apuesto a que varios no estuvieron dispuestos a arriesgarse por un simple partido de futbol.

Para colmo de males, los 50 mil aficionados que tuvieron los recursos económicos y el valor para asistir aquella noche al Estadio Azteca se llevaron una terrible decepción, pues México sufrió su primera derrota ante los estadounidenses en suelo mexicano. Al final sólo abucheos y una gran decepción. ¿Volverán a ir?

Como todo en la vida hay excepciones. Los dos clubes de Nuevo León, Tigres y Rayados, siguen con llenos en el "Volcán" y el "Tec", respectivamente. En dicho estado también hay violencia, pero es uno de los más desarrollados en el área económica. De hecho, 10 de las 20 empresas más importantes del País tienen su sede en Monterrey. Además, claro está, de su extraordinaria cultura deportiva.

En conclusión, es verdad que las bajas asistencias tienen que ver con el nivel del futbol mexicano, que está lejísimos del de la Liga Premier de Inglaterra, aunque tampoco es tan malo como varios aseguran, y también con la saturación de partidos. No obstante, me queda claro que la economía y la inseguridad son factores aún más importantes para este problema.

Sería bueno que los directivos lo analizaran -porque parece que no lo han hecho- ya que la única "solución" que encontraron a este tema fue la de bautizar nuestro balompié con el "creativo" nombre de "Liga Mx".

mejor dicho nadie lo hubiera comentado Sr. Vargas. es vergonzoso ver como nuestro presidente pone en alto a mexico que es el segundo año mejor pais de latino america y es el paraiso para invertir, pues claro que lo es para los emrpesarios que ven que la mano de obra del mexicano esta al nivel de haiti, y lo unico que mantiene al pueblo contento es su futbol, pero sin poder ir a verlos en persona al estadio, ya que el costo mas bajo es de casi 500 pesos por persona. o comes o vas a ver el partido.......
