¡Chivas, vive!

Dejemos atrás la barata, vieja y cansada polémica del sistema de competencia en el futbol mexicano. La única realidad es que el Rebaño está hoy en zona de Liguilla y si está ahí es porque tiene los puntos necesarios. Eso sí, faltan dos partidos y muchas cosas pueden pasar, pero de momento la esperanza de pelear el título se mantiene vigente.

Fueron días difíciles para Chivas, la ridícula eliminación en la "Concachampions", que le valió el calificativo de "Burla Nacional", puso su entorno muy complicado. La visita de Johan Cruyff lejos de calmar las aguas las enturbió más al abrir la posibilidad de utilizar naturalizados. Así llegó el Clásico Tapatío.

Y entonces aparecieron Rafael Márquez Lugo y Marco Fabián para que el panorama cambiara. Dos bellos goles y una buena actuación defensiva ante un rival paupérrimo como Atlas fueron suficientes para que los rojiblancos salieran del ataúd y alcanzaran el octavo puesto de la clasificación.

Lo que viene

Chivas, Santos Atlante y Pumas tienen 20 puntos, sin embargo los tapatíos cuentan con una mejor diferencia de goles (+1) a cambio de los -3 de los demás. Es una microscópica ventaja, pero suficiente para decir que dependen de sí mismos. Esto de nada servirá si no aprueban sus dos siguientes exámenes, en Querétaro y contra Xolos.

Es curioso, Guadalajara buscará su boleto ante el peor equipo (Gallos) y el mejor (Tijuana). Los queretanos no ganaron hasta ahora un partido y los tijuanenses sólo perdieron una vez. Los pronósticos se los dejo a usted.

Ahora o nunca

No se debe celebrar que Chivas clasifique a la Liguilla, esa es la obligación de cualquier equipo etiquetado como grande, pero si lo consigue dará un ligero respiro al "Proyecto Cruyff", merecidamente criticado hasta que no entregue buenos resultados.

Los dirigidos por John van't Schip tienen una oportunidad que no pueden desaprovechar. Deben ser el equipo que fue capaz de vencer a León y América, con suerte o sin ella, y no el que perdió con Pachuca y Atlante. Se agotó el espacio para la irregularidad.

Si Chivas se mete a la "Fiesta Grande" tendrá las mismas posibilidades matemáticas que los demás de obtener el campeonato, aunque si hablamos de posibilidades futbolísticas definitivamente éstas son pocas, pues hay media docena de equipos que poseen un mejor nivel.

Pero lo anterior ya es adelantarnos mucho, por lo pronto el Rebaño Sagrado debe sacar los tres puntos de La Corregidora. Después, ya veremos.
