¡Lolograron!Después de más de 30 horas al aire de forma ininterrumpidas, Teletón USA 2014 alcanzó la meta establecida y logró recaudar 15,539,427 dólares, superando por 223,748 dólares la cifra del año pasado.
Aunque hubieron momentos muy difíciles en donde se dudó que llegaran a la meta, pues según palabras de Galilea Montijo, una de las presentadoras, iban muy abajo en comparación del año anterior, sí lo lograron y en las últimas horas, con el aporte de la gente, más unos bien grandes de empresas y compañías, pudieron festejar que sí podrán seguir dándole tratamientos a muchos niños en el primer Centro de Rehabilitación Infantil Teletón (CRIT) construido en San Antonio, Texas.

Con Don Francisco, su creador, a la cabeza de este gran acto de solidaridad y el apoyo de Fernando Landeros, presidente de Teletón, varios fueron los famosos que dieron su apoyo desde diferentes ciudades de Estados Unidos como Miami, New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles y San Antonio, entre otras.
Galilea Montijo, Karla Martínez, Bárbara Bermudo, Carlos Loret de Mola, María Antonieta Collins, Raúl de Molina, Alejandra Espinoza, Julián Gil, Ilia Calderón, Rodner Figueroa, Jacky Guerrido, Ximena Córdoba, Lourdes Stephen, Tanya Charry, Pamela Silva Conde, y el presidente de Univision, Alberto Ciurana, fueron algunas de las personalidades de estuvieron conduciendo a lo largo de las más de 30 horas.
Entre los famosos que cantaron y aportaron su arte a esta causa y a incentivar a que la gente donaran estuvieron Chayanne, Ricky Martin, Los Tigres del Norte, Chiquis, Maite Perroni, Dulce María, Jencarlos Canela, Mané de la Parra, Jorge Salinas, América Sierra, El Dasa, Thalía, Natalia Jiménez, Prince Royce y Daniela Romo entre muchos.
Con este dinero recaudado, Teletón USA podrá seguir dándole tratamiento a niños con diferentes discapacidades y cáncer en el primer CRIT de Estados Unidos ubicado en San Antonio.
