UPDATE 17:50: Tras publicarse esta noticia, información distinta comenzó a circular en Internet. Diversos medios así como la agencia de noticias DPA publicaron que periodistas alemanes desmintieron los informes de que Michael Schumacher había salido del coma. Algunas fuentes indican que Nicola Pohl, reportera del diario Bild, desmintió el rumor publicando el siguiente mensaje en Twitter: "¿Schumacher despierta? Lo sentimos, pero esos rumores desde España al parecer no son ciertos".

El siete veces campeón mundial de Fórmula 1, Michael Schumacher, despertó del coma al que fue inducido tras un accidente de esquí que sufrió hace tres meses y medio en Francia. De acuerdo con su mánager, Sabine Kehm, el expiloto recuperó la conciencia e incluso reconoció a su esposa Corinna Betsch.

Diversos medios, como el diario mexicano El Universal y e Infobae han publicado la noticia, señalando que la vocera de Schumacher anunció a los medios internacionales el cambio en la condición médica del alemán.

Según contó Kem a la cadena de televisión RTL, Michael Schumacher, hospitalizado desde diciembre de 2013 en Grenoble, alterna estados de conciencia y sueño.

El expiloto de 45 años se golpeó la cabeza con una roca mientras esquiaba con su familia el 29 de diciembre pasado. El accidente provocó que su casco se rompiera y el alemán tuvo que ser operado para que los médicos le retiraran algunos coágulos del cerebro. Para estabilizarlo y evitar más daños al cerebro fue necesario inducirle un coma mediante el uso de fármacos.
