De 11 nominaciones que tenía , "Gravity" se llevó 6 premios BAFTA a casa –incluyendo el galardón a Mejor Director para el mexicano Alfonso Cuarón.
Este domingo por la noche (16 de feb.) se llevó a cabo la gala de la edición 67 de los BAFTA en la Roya Opera House de Londres, en la que el Reino Unido distingue a lo mejor del cine y la televisión.
Las cintas más galardonadas de la noche fueron "Gravity" y "American Hustle" (con tres premios), mientras que el filme "12 Years a Slave" de Steve McQueen fue nombrada la Mejor Película del año.
"Me considero parte de la industria del cine británica y todos mis sentimientos están arraigados en Gran Bretaña", dijo Alfonso Cuarón tras recibir su premio como Mejor Director, según reportó CNN.
