Pagar un boleto para estar en filas cercanas al ring es un lujo que pocos pueden darse. Pero ahora, gracias al cine, la gente podrá estar más cerca que nunca de Mayweather y 'Canelo'.

El próximo 14 de septiembre se llevará a cabo una de las peleas más grandes del año entre Floyd Mayweather Jr. y Saúl "Canelo" Álvarez, y gracias a una sociedad entre NCM Fathom Events y Golden Boy Promotions, el encuentro podrá disfrutarse en la pantalla grande. ESPN reportó que la función de pago por evento "The One" estará disponible en 550 salas de cine de Estados Unidos –incluyendo varias ciudades de Florida, California, Nueva York y Texas.

Esta no es la primera vez que una pelea de "Money" Mayweather se proyecta en alta definición en cines, y eso es algo de lo que el propio boxeador se siente orgulloso.

"Amo que muchas de mis peleas han sido exhibidas en los cines", dijo Mayweather, a ESPN. "Es algo que, durante mucho tiempo, quise darle a los aficionados. Es mi trabajo darle a los aficionados el mejor entretenimiento posible".

Los precios para estas funciones variarán de acuerdo a la sala en que se exhiba la pelea, pero según ESPN, el costo será menor al que se cobra en televisión por el PPE.
