El argentino Omar Narváez sufrió para retener la corona Supermosca de la Organización Mundial de Boxeo la noche del sábado ante su gente, en el Luna Park de Buenos Aires en Argentina.

El cordobés fue sorprendido por la fortaleza y poder de puños del mexicano Felipe Orucuta, quien durante el encuentro no dejó de intentar arrebatarle el fajín.

El Gallito Orucuta, poseedor de mayor distancia y juventud que el Huracán, presionó todo lo que pudo al campeón, pero no pudo concretar la hazaña al caer por decisión dividida 118-110 para Orucuta, 115-113 y 115-113 ambas a favor de Narváez.

El Huracán, quien ha sostenido 26 peleas de campeonato del mundo, logró inclinar la balanza a su favor hasta que descubrió que el contragolpeo no era el fuerte de Orucuta, pues con anterioridad había sufrido el castigo con volados y golpes a zonas blandas por parte del mexicano.

Un boxeo por piernas ayudó a Narváez a mantener a Orucuta lejos, pero no por mucho tiempo, ya que para los últimos cuatro rounds de la contienda el mexicano se lanzó a presionar con ganchos y rectos al cuerpo del argentino.

“No había enfrentado a un peleador así de fuerte, pero me voy feliz con la victoria, pues para mi vencí al más duro de la división, pues Orucuta tiene gran calidad”, sentenció el argentino que mejoró su récord a 39 triunfos por un descalabro.
