MTV anunció el martes sus nominaciones a los Movie Awards 2013, en donde "Django Unchained" y "Ted" consiguieron siete candidaturas cada una. "Silver Linings Playbook" le sigue con seis nominaciones y "The Dark Knight Rises" compite por cinco. Entre los nominados también están "The Avengers", "Skyfall", "Pitch Perfect" y "The Perks of Being a Wallflower".
Javier Bardem consiguió otra nominación más por su papel como el villano de "Skyfall", la cinta de James Bond.
Como revela la cadena, a través de Internet, los seguidores pueden votar por sus favoritos en todas las categorías, que este año incluyen dos nuevas: la mejor actuación sin camisa y mejor momento musical.
La comediante australiana Rebel Wilson, doblemente nominada, fungirá como la anfitriona del show junto a Will Ferrell, quien será honrado con el flamante Premio Comic Genius de MTV.
La ceremonia se transmitirá en vivo el 14 de abril desde los estudios Sony Pictures en Culver City, California.
