Este miércoles 6 de marzo en "Primer Impacto", el show que conduce, se verá una entrevista que Bárbara Bermudo le realizó a la Primera Dama de Estados Unidos, Michelle Obama. Ambas hablaron del programa eductativo "Let’s Move" (Movámonos). Pero terminó siendo la periodista y presentadora puertorriqueña la que la puso a mover a la esposa del presidente al ritmo de Pitbull.

En exclusiva HuffPost Voces habló con Bárbara sobre este encuentro, ya que nos enteramos que la Michelle Obama quedó tan impactada con Bermudo, que tiene intenciones de invitarla a que sea parte del programa "Let’s Move" como vocera hispana.

Bárbara, ¿cómo fue ese encuentro con la Primera Dama?
Fue una experiencia maravillosa porque uno siempre esta predispuesto a lo que es la parte protocolar y me encontré con una mujer cálida, divertida y muy asequible. Nos habían dado 10 minutos de entrevista, en este tipo de cosas son muy estrictos con el tiempo y nos fuimos a casi el doble. Desde el primer momento hicimos una empatía maravillosa.

¿Qué es lo que veremos este miércoles en "Primer Impacto" en esta entrevista?
Tocamos el tema de su nueva campaña que intenta ayudar a los niños con problema de obesidad del país. Los colegios que han tenido que quitar la hora de educación física, volver a reactivarlos. El programa "Let’s Move" busca, entre otras cosas, que 50 mil colegios tenga actividad fisica 60 minutos al día. Pues Michelle Obama dice que esto, acompañado de una buena alimentación, garantiza que cada estudiante tenga mejor asistencia, mejores resultados en los examenes y mejor capacidad de aprendizaje. Ella esta consciente que no se puede hacer de la noche a la mañana, por eso está muy enfocada en enseñar a que los padres le den de comer saludable a los niños pequeñitos. Atacar desde temprana edad.

Que la invitaras a bailar ¿fue algo programado o la sorprendiste?
No estaba preparado. Yo sí lleve la música y le dije que había traído un tema de Pitbull porque me gustaría que las dos no moviéramos como parte y apoyo de la campaña. De inmediato me dijo que sí y me pidió que le enseñara, que practicáramos los pasos ¡Aprendió rapidísimo!

Si tuvieras que darle un puntaje del 1 al 10 al baile de Michelle Obama, ¿qué número le darías?
Le doy un 10. De hecho, los que tuvieron oportunidad de ver el adelanto que pasamos en "Primer Impacto", me escribieron en Twitter diciéndome que cómo podía ser que yo siendo latina era ella quien tenía mejores movimiento. La verdad es que me medí bastante, tuve un poquito contenida por la cuestión protocolar y no me solté a bailar como hubiera querido.

¿Con qué te quedas de esta experiencia con la Primera Dama, Michelle Obama?
Con el mejor de los recuerdos. Fue increible porque cuando terminamos la entrevista, ella me agradeció mucho por la entrevista que, me dijo, a la vez que fue informativa, fue divertida. Me dijo que para ella fue una experiencia maravillosa. Puedo decir que conocí una Primera Dama que no me imaginaba. Extremadamente cálida y cariñosa. Me dio como tres abrazos y está muy entusiasmada con la idea que nos unamos a ella en la campaña. Ella es muy consciente de que este problema de la obesidad infantil es algo que padece muchísimo la población hispana y quiere enfocarse en ello.
