LONDRES (AP) — Inglaterra consiguió su primer triunfo sobre Brasil en 23 años al vencerlo el miércoles 2-1 en un amistoso en el estadio Wembley.

Wayne Rooney abrió la cuenta por los anfitriones, Fred empató por Brasil y Frank Lampard metió el gol del triunfo al filo de la hora.

Inglaterra no le ganaba a Brasil desde 1990.

El partido fue el regreso a Londres del nuevo técnico de la "Verdeamarela", Luiz Felipe Scolari, quien tuvo un paso infructuoso por Chelsea en 2008-09.
