Este viernes 1 de febrero, Hillary Clinton se despide como secretaria de Estado y, en el que fue su último discurso como la diplomática de más alto rango de Estados Unidos, confesó que terminar la etapa le deja un dulce y amargo sabor.

Hillary Clinton se retira como una de las más populares, o tal vez la más popular miembro del gabinete de Obama en su primer mandato.

Una encuesta de USA Today/Gallup en diciembre del 2012 arrojó que la esposa de Bill Clinton es la mujer más admiradas a nivel mundial, lista que comparte con figuras como Michelle Obama, Oprah Winfrey, Condoleezza Rice y otras.

La Comisión de Relaciones Exteriores del Senado aprobó el martes la propuesta del presidente Barack Obama de que el senador John Kerry sea el próximo secretario de Estado.
