CIUDAD DE MÉXICO - Sin Carlos Vela por su polémica negativa y con cinco jugadores del América como base, quedó conformada la selección mexicana que enfrentará a su similar de Dinamarca el próximo 30 de enero en Phoenix, Arizona.

José Manuel 'Chepo' de la Torre dio a conocer la lista de 21 elementos que afrontarán el primer compromiso del 'Tri' en el año. La media decena de jugadores azulcremas llaman la atención, pues es un claro reconocimiento al buen momento por el que atraviesa el equipo, que suma cinco victoria al hilo tomando en cuenta su participación en la Liga y la Copa MX.

Los americanista Francisco Javier Rodríguez, Paul Aguilar, Diego Reyes, Jesús Molina y Raúl Jiménez, estarán sumándose a la concentración el próximo domingo 27 en el Centro de Alto Rendimiento para dar el banderazo inicial a las actividades deportivas este 2013, un año cargado de actividad con eventos de primer nivel como la Copa Confederaciones, las Eliminatorias Mundialistas y la Copa de Oro.

Sobresale también el llamado del portero del Tijuana, Cirilo Saucedo, quien aprovechando la ausencia de Memo Ochoa, quien declinó la convocatoria porque será padre en los próximo días, recibió su esperado llamado.

Los jugadores que militan en Europa que viajarán al partido en Estados Unidos son: Javier Hernández, Andrés Guardado, Héctor Moreno y Giovani dos Santos.
