Mosley cambia de opinión, descolgará los guantes

Más tardó en tomar la decisión de retirarse del boxeo que en volver a regresar a los encordados. El ex campeón mundial estadounidense Shane Mosley reveló que planea regresar para enfrentar a su compatriota Paulie Malignaggi para intentar arrebatarle la corona mundial Welter de la Asociación Mundial de Boxeo.

'Sugar' Shane anunció que se retiraría del boxeo tras ser vencido vía decisión unánime por el peleador mexicano Saúl Álvarez en mayo pasado.

Ahora Mosley buscará retomar su carrera y subir al ring el 27 de abril en el Barclays Center de Brooklyn, Nueva York, dentro de una cartelera que organiza Golden Boy Promotions.

El nativo de Pomona, California, ha mantenido una mala racha que inició en noviembre del 2007 cuando fue vencido por el boricua Miguel Angel Cotto. Desde entonces sólo ha ganado dos pleitos de siete encuentros sostenidos.

Mosley otrora monarca mundial tiene una foja de 46 victorias, 39 de ellas por nocaut, 8 derrotas y un empate.

Malignaggi buscará exponer por segunda ocasión la corona que conquistó al vencer a Vyacheslav Senchenko en abril pasado y de paso mejorar su récord que mantiene en 32 victorias, 7 antes del límite y cuatro derrotas.
