Cuando la gran mayoría de la gente recibe el Año Nuevo con una tremenda fiesta con familia y amigos, con mucho pavo, lechón asado, bacalao, romeritos, arroz con gandules o el platillo típico de su preferencia, hay otros que lo hacen de una forma más "particular": nadando en aguas heladas.

Alrededor del mundo hay cientos de personas que año tras año se van a bañar al mar, sea en trajes de baño o disfraces bizarros, para llenarse de energía y buenas vibras - y, si nos preguntas, una neumonía. Unos se hacen llamar el "Polar Bear Club", como aquellos de Coney Island, en Nueva York.
