LONDRES (AP) — Casi un mes después de abandonar las filas del Galaxy de Los Ángeles, el inglés David Beckham contempla "numerosas propuestas serias" pero no tiene prisa por elegir un nuevo club.

Distintos reportes han vinculado al mediocampista con equipos de Francia, Australia y Asia, en lo que podría ser el último capítulo en la carrera del ex capitán de la selección inglesa, quien tiene 37 años.

La empresa que representa a Beckham informó el jueves en un comunicado que hay ofertas "sobre la mesa, de parte de varios clubes de todo el mundo". Sin embargo, aclaró que el análisis de esas propuestas comienza apenas.

El comunicado añadió que Beckham "no tiene prisa por tomar una decisión". Señaló que "la clave es tomar la decisión adecuada, como él lo ha hecho siempre".

Beckham terminó su exitosa estadía de cinco años en la MLS el 1 de diciembre.
