Guiada por el argentino Lionel Messi, luego de conseguir dos anotaciones más en la Liga BBVA, la escuadra del Barcelona continúa con su paso arrollador en la liga española, después de obtener su duodécima victoria de la temporada al golear a domicilio al equipo de Levante 4-0, que nada pudo hacer ante el futbol de su rival en el segundo tiempo.

EL partido por momentos fue peleado, sobre todo en los primeros 45 minutos, en donde el cuadro local le pudo jugar de tú a tú a su rival, pues logró mantener el cero en su portería y generar algunas jugadas de peligro sobre el marco enemigo.

Sin embargo, los siguientes 45 minutos fueron completamente otros, pues Barcelona en los primeros minutos desplegó su mejor futbol y en un abrir y cerrar de ojos inclinó la balanza a su favor, teniendo como motor al mediocampista Andrés Iniesta, quien intervino en todas las anotaciones del cuadro blaugrana.

El primer gol cayó al minuto 47 en los botines del argentino Messi, quien por el lado izquierdo recibió pase de Iniesta y, ante la salida del portero Munua, magistralmente levantó la pelota para mandarla al fondo de la portería.

El gol desaminó al Levante, por lo que cuatro minutos después ya tenía la segunda anotación en contra, y de nueva cuenta fue la dupla Iniesta-Messi , luego de que el mediocampista se metió hasta la última línea del lado izquierdo y mandó diagonal matona a la llegada del futbolista sudamericano, que de zurda envió al fondo.

Barcelona se adueñó del partido y ahora fue el turno de Iniesta al 56', quien recibió pase de Pedro y, al llegar al borde del área grande, sacó fogonazo a las redes, en el que nada pudo hacer el portero ante la velocidad del esférico.

Y ya con un rival completamente entregado, Iniesta volvió hacer de las suyas al regresarle una pared a Cesc Fábregas al 61' para conseguir el cuarto, en la que este último entró solo al área grande, se quitó al portero y sin problemas dejó la pelota depositada en el fondo.

Luego de dos intentos del cuadro de Levante a disparos de Martins y Juanfran para hacer menos humillante la derrota, todavía tuvo la oportunidad del gol por medio de un tiro penal al 86', luego de una falta de Puyol dentro del área grande; sin embargo, Barkero se encargó de fallarlo, por lo que el juego quedó sentenciado a favor del equipo culé.
