LOS ANGELES (AP) — La serie de películas de "Crepúsculo" ("Twilight") no se desvaneció en su final.
"Crepúsculo: Amanecer, Parte 2" ("The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn — Part 2") sumó 141 millones de dólares en Estados Unidos durante su primer fin de semana, colocándose en el octavo puesto histórico de las películas con mejores estrenos.
En total tres de las películas de la serie están entre los 10 mejores estrenos en Estados Unidos, incluyendo "Luna Nueva" ("New Moon"), en el séptimo puesto con 142,8 millones de dólares; y "Amanecer, Parte1" ("Breaking Dawn — Part 1"), en noveno puesto con 138,1 millones.
La cinta final de la serie también recaudó 199,6 millones más en el extranjero.
"The Avengers", que se lanzó en mayo, tiene el primer lugar con 207,4 millones de dólares.
