MISURI.- Un hombre del suroeste de Missouri fue acusado de conspirar para disparar en una sala de cine durante la proyección de la nueva película de Crepúsculo, después de que su madre contactara a la policía, diciéndoles que le preocupaba que su hijo había comprado armas similares a las utilizadas durante el tiroteo fatal en un cine de Colorado.
Blaec Lammers, de 20 años, está acusado de asalto en primer grado, por amenaza terrorista y acción criminal armada. Fue encarcelado en el Condado Polk con una fianza de 500 mil dólares.
"Afortunadamente hemos tenido un familiar responsable o podríamos haber tenido un resultado diferente", dijo el jefe de policía Steve Hamilton. “Lammers está bajo el cuidado de un médico para la enfermedad mental que padece”, documentos de la corte decían que el joven “no había tomado su medicación".
La madre de Lammers dijo que pensaba que las armas - dos fusiles de asalto y cientos de balas - se parecían a los utilizados por el ‘guasón de Colorado’ cuando abrió fuego en el interior de un cine en Aurora, durante la última película de Batman en julio. El ataque mató a 12 personas.
Lammers fue interrogado la tarde del jueves y dijo a las autoridades que compró boletos para la función de Crepúsculo: Amanecer Parte 2 y planeaba dispararle a la gente en el interior de la sala.
