Entre lidiar con los estragos que dejara el reciente paso del huracán Sandy, y las emociones que despierta el proceso eleccionario en una ciudad tan prominente como New York, muchos neoyorquinos han recurrido a los medios sociales para expresar su sentir.

Algunos usuarios de plataformas como Twitter utilizaron sus cuentas personales para censurar la manera tan insensible con la que se ha manejado el tema político en la ciudad, y mostrar su apoyo a aquellos que aún se encuentran atravesando una situación difícil en sus hogares. Mientras tanto, otros aprovecharon la oportunidad para hacer campaña por su candidato de preferencia, e incentivar a otros a salir a votar.
