El delantero mexicano del conjunto español Mallorca, Giovanni dos Santos, se perderá los enfrentamientos de las siguientes tres semanas de su escuadra, luego de que sufre una elongación recto anterior del muslo izquierdo, microrotura grado 1, por lo que de nueva cuenta pasará a la lista de lesionados, se informó en la página oficial del equipo.

El ariete azteca apenas había cumplido dos semanas con el cuadro bermellón, después de haberse recuperado de una lesión que había sufrido en los Juegos Olímpicos de Londres pasados con la selección mexicana, en los que tuvo un problema en el muslo derecho (ruptura muscular el bíceps femoral grado I), que lo dejó fuera de las canchas por más de dos meses.

Dos Santos no podrá ver acción contra sus ex compañeros en la siguiente fecha del torneo español, pues su siguiente contrincante será el actual líder del certamen Barcelona, equipo con el que debutó el futbolista mexicano precisamente en el balompié ibérico.

Con esta nueva lesión, Gio también se perderá, aparte del encuentro con el cuadro catalán, los enfrentamientos contra el Celta de Vigo y el Rayo Vallecano, y en caso de que lograse recuperarse, según lo previsto por los médicos del equipo, estará en la cancha contra el Deportivo la Coruña en el partido de vuelta de la Copa del Rey.

Además, las malas noticias siguen rondando a la escuadra bermellona, pues el mediocampista Joao Víctor ha sido operado de urgencia por una patología intestinal de carácter oclusivo, por lo que el jugador seguirá ingresado unos días en el centro hospitalario USP Palma Planas.

Así que las cosas no pintan nada bien para el director técnico Joaquín Caparrós con estas sensibles bajas en la justa ibérica, pues el equipo está urgido de salir de su mala racha en la que se encuentra metido, luego de que en sus últimos cinco partidos de la liga ha sido derrotado.
