Con gol de último minuto, obra de Jordi Alba, el equipo español FC Barcelona pudo quedarse con los valiosos tres puntos en su encuentro ante el escocés Celtic, al que recibieron en el Camp Nou en actividades de la Champions League.

El griego Georgios Samaras rompió el cero a los 18 minutos, el "blaugrana" Andrés Iniesta empató al 45 y Alba se encargó de firmar la voltereta y el sufrido triunfo al 90.

Pese a dominar la mayor parte del tiempo, el Barça, que mantuvo en la banca al mexicano Jonathan Dos Santos, no tuvo de su lado la puntería, motivo por cual no pudieron reflejar su superioridad en el marcador.

Las cosas se le complicaron al cuadro de casa al minuto 18, cuando Samaras cabeceó un centro de Charlie Mulgrew y el balón pegó en la espalda del argentino Javier Mascherano para enseguida guardarse al fondo de la red, para sorpresa de toda la afición.

Con esto, los "culés" redoblaron esfuerzos, encerraron a Celtic, que defendió con todos sus hombres, y fue hasta el 45 que logró empatar a través de Iniesta, quien no desperdició la gran pared hecha con Xavi Hernández para acabar la jugada en gol.

En la segunda mitad, el partido continuó bajo el mismo guión, con los catalanes controlando el esférico, sin embargo todos sus remates se fueron por un lado o se estrellaron en los postes.

Todos crearon ocasiones, el argentino Lionel Messi, Pedro Rodríguez y el chileno Alexis Sánchez fueron los hombres más peligrosos, pero por una u otra razón no lograban anotar.

Con el control del partido, los locales siguieron generando peligro, pero esta vez les faltó ese último toque para llegar con mayor claridad, por lo que todo parecía indicar que terminarían repartiéndose los puntos.

No fue así, Jordi Alba se convirtió en el "salvador" en el último minuto. El lateral no desperdició un centro al segundo palo del brasileño Adriano Correia y, sin dudarlo, fusiló al guardameta Fraser Forster para el 2-1 final.

En el otro encuentro de este Grupo, el G, Spartak de Moscú hizo valer su condición de local en el Luzhniki Stadium para conseguir sus primeros tres puntos, al vencer 2-1 al portugués Benfica.

Con estos resultados, Barcelona se mantiene como líder invicto del sector con nueve unidades, seguido de Celtic (4), Spartak (3) y Benfica, que es último con un punto.
