Nicole Kidman habla de su 'extraño' matrimonio con Tom Cruise
NicoleKidmanha estado felizmente casada con la estrella de la música country Keith Urban desde hace ya seis años, pero la actriz de 45 años al parecer no puede escapar de su pasado y su tan publicitada relación con Tom Cruise.
Desde que Cruise y su tercera esposa, Katie Holmes, se separaron, Kidman ha hablado sobre su ex marido y su romance de Hollywood. Ahora, en una nueva entrevista con la revista Harper's Bazaar, la estrella de "The Paperboy" compara sus dos matrimonios y revela que, aunque Cruise la hizo feliz, se siente mucho más libre y segura de sí con Urban.

"En esos años, era como: 'estoy aquí, tomada de tu brazo y todo se siente un poco abrumador y realmente extraño", recuerda Kidman de su unión con Tom, tras conocerlo y enamorarse en el set de "Days of Thunder". "Yo era tímida, bastante tímida. No me sentía cómoda. Pero sí lo estaba en casa", añade.
Dice que después de su separación en 2001, se sintió mejor con su vida y su carrera, considerando que su estatus de estrella ya no estaba basada en su relación con Cruise. "Que tu trabajo sea la base de tu fama, eso es un sentimiento mucho más estable", revela.
Kidman conoció a Urban, de 44 años, en 2005 y la pareja tiene dos hijas juntos: Sunday Rose, de 4 años, y Faith Margaret, de casi 2 años. Nicole también tiene dos hijos adoptados con Cruise, Isabella, de 19 años, y Connor, de 17. "El tiempo vuela tan rápido", dice Nicole. "Haber criado a dos pequeños niños que ahora son adultos, y tener a dos nuevas niñas en el mundo, es asombroso".
Sobre su unión con Urban, quien recientemente fue nombrado juez en "American Idol", Kidman confiesa que le dio una nueva actitud que tanto necesitaba.

"Me dio confianza, a través de ser siempre amable y comprensivo conmigo, abriéndome a nuevas cosas, a mi sexualidad, a tantas cosas", indica. Comparándolo con Cruise, dice que Urban es "más como un océano; me sacó al mundo".
