El capitán del Palermo, Fabrizio Miccoli, se convirtió en el personaje del fin de semana. No sólo rompió la racha del equipo de cinco juegos sin ganar, hizo tres goles en la victoria 4-1 sobre Chievo Verona y la última de sus anotaciones, sin duda es candidata al mejor tanto del año.

En el minuto 82 prendió un balón de volea casi desde medio campo sorprendiendo el portero, ante la euforia de propios y extraños.

"Este ha sido uno de los mejores días de mi carrera", dijo el italiano de 33 años.

Palermo ha tenido días difíciles en la Serie A italiana, pues tuvo que despedir al primer entrenador con el que comenzó la temporada. Sin duda este resultado y el gol, es una inyección de ánimo en busca de la recuperación.
