Luego del resultado histórico del conjunto de Correcaminos al venir de atrás de una desventaja de tres goles para ganar en penales a Xolos, los equipos de la división de Ascenso del futbol mexicano han hecho suya la Copa MX, pues sus cuatro equipos que disputaron los cuartos de final lograron pasar a las semifinales, dejando en el camino a los representantes del máximo circuito.
Sin duda, esto es una llamada de atención para las directivas de las escuadras que militan en la Primera División del balompié azteca, pues con la eliminación de sus últimos cuatro representantes en esta ronda, lo único que quedó en claro fue su falta de seriedad para este certamen, ya que en esta fase recién terminada los cuatro cuadros que fueron derrotados jugaron en su mayoría con futbolistas suplentes.
Así que Correcaminos, que es dirigido por el timonel José Luis Sánchez; Necaxa, que tiene en los controles a Jaime Ordiales; Neza, el cual es comandado por el argentino Carlos Bustos, y Dorados, que es manejado por el director técnico mexicano Francisco Ramírez Vázquez, son los equipos que protagonizarán estas semifinales.
La partidos semifinales de esta Copa se jugarán de la siguiente manera: el equipo de Necaxa enfrentará al conjunto de Dorados, mientras que la escuadra de Neza se medirá al equipo de Correcaminos, ambos partidos se llevarán a cabo hasta finales de octubre, siendo las fechas tentativas para los cotejos los días 23, 24 y 25.
EL CAMINO
El camino de estos cuatro conjuntos de la División de Ascenso para disputar las semifinales fue el siguiente:
La escuadra de Neza logró empatar a un gol con el conjunto de Pachuca; sin embargo, consiguió su pase al vencerlo en tiros penales por 4-3.
El cuadro de Dorados sufrió de más, pero al final pudo derrotar en tiempo regular al equipo de los Reales de San Luis por 3-2.
El equipo de Necaxa sacó un empate a un gol en los últimos minutos al Toluca, por lo que el partido se tuvo que ir a tanda de penales, instancia donde logró vencer 5-3.
Y en el mejor partido de la Copa MX hasta el momento, el conjunto de Correcaminos logró reponerse de tres goles para empatar 5-5 ante Tijuana, al que derrotó en penales 7-6.
