GUADALAJARA, México.-Tanto Pumas como Chivas se cansaron de fallar oportunidades claras frente a las porterías, incluso la escuadra rojiblanca se dio el lujo de errar un tiro penal en tiempo de compensación, por lo que ambos conjuntos no pasaron del empate a cero goles, con lo que el cuadro tapatío continúa sin poder ganar en el estadio Ominilife en lo que va del certamen.
Lo único positivo que le pudo pasar en este cotejo al cuadro del director técnico holandés, John Van´t Schip, fue que mantuvo su hegemonía ante el equipo universitario, pues ya son poco más de 30 años en los que el cuadro felino no puede vencer en terreno ajeno a los jaliscienses.
A pesar de que el encuentro terminó sin goles, se jugó a buen ritmo, pues desde principio a fin las llegadas de peligro estuvieron a la orden del día en ambas porterías, sobre todo la del equipo de Guadalajara.
Por parte del conjunto de Pumas sus delanteros Emanuel Villa y Martín Bravo dejaron escapar oportunidades claras, sobre todo el ex delantero de Cruz Azul, que en el segundo tiempo tuvo dos a bocajarro, incluso una sin portero, en las que terminó mandando el balón por encima de la meta defendida por Luis Ernesto Michel.
Mientras que por el Guadalajara la más clara se le presentó a Luis Ernesto Pérez en tiempo de compensación por medio de la pena máxima, en donde de manera sobrada se presentó a tirar el disparo que lo estrelló en el poste inferior derecho del portero Alejandro Palacios.
Así que en términos generales, ambos conjuntos se entregaron en la cancha, pero, sin duda alguna, los dos dejaron ver por qué se encuentran de la mitad para abajo de la tabla general de la justa, pues con las fallas de sus jugadores ante el marco evidenciaron de lo que han adolecido durante todo certamen.
