BARCELONA (AP) — El Barcelona debió sudar para obtener su quinta victoria seguida en la liga española de fútbol, al vencer el sábado 2-0 al visitante Granada.

Un gol de Xavi Hernández a los 87 minutos decidió un partido complicado para el líder, que ha sumado el total de 15 unidades en las cinco fechas disputadas. El tanto en contra de Borja Gómez en los descuentos cerró la 19na derrota del Granada en el Camp Nou en otras tantas visitas.

Así las cosas, Barcelona se acostó a 11 puntos de distancia del campeón Real Madrid, que el domingo visita a Rayo Vallecano.

En otros cotejos, Zaragoza derrotó 3-1 a Osasuna, el colista con un solo punto junto a Espanyol, que también perdió 1-0 en cancha del Betis.

Zaragoza, que escaló a la 11ma posición con seis unidades, cobró ventaja con un gol de Helder Postiga a los cuatro minutos. Tras el empate de Emiliano Armenteros (29), decidieron el tanto en contra de David Timor (45) y un penal transformado por Antonio "Apoño" Galdeano (71).

El Espanyol del argentino Mauricio Pochettino encajó su cuarta derrota por vía del brasileño Paulao (18). El Betis es tercero con nueve unidades y un partido pendiente.

Celta venció 2-1 al Getafe gracias a los goles del argentino Augusto Fernández (57) y el coreano Chu Young Park (68). El tanto visitante fue de Abdel Barrada (59).

La primera mitad entre Barsa y Granada acabó en 0-0, además de una crispada discusión entre David Villa y el argentino Lionel Messi por un balón no entregado por el español.

Pero siempre estuvo la sensación de que la victoria local era cuestión de tiempo frente a un conjunto andaluz, bien parapetado atrás.

El progresivo dominio barcelonista salvó una peligrosa escapada del brasileño Siqueira ante Víctor Valdés y finalizó en el bombardeo de Messi, Villa, Thiago Alcántara y Cesc Fábregas al arco de Toño Rodríguez, quien voló para evitar un primer gol en contra de Gómez.

Pese al amplio arsenal ofensivo, el Barsa presentaba lagunas defensivas con la improvisada pareja formada por Alex Song y el argentino Javier Mascherano, y el Granada reforzó su estrategia de juntar líneas en una franja de 10 metros y contragolpear con conducciones largas, principalmente de Siqueira.

La entrada de Xavi, Pedro Rodríguez y Cristian Tello refrescó el juego azulgrana, pero la figura de Toño se agigantó en respectivos mano a mano con Messi, Fábregas y Xavi.

Víctor Valdés respondió con otra gran atajada ante el chileno Fabián Orellana y, en un eléctrico desenlace, apareció finalmente la figura de Xavi, quien certificó el quinto triunfo del Barsa con un disparo desde el balcón del área que entró en el arco tras impactar el travesaño.

En los descuentos, Gómez anotó gol en contra tras una buena acción individual de Messi.

Zaragoza se aprovechó pronto de las bajas en los laterales de Osasuna y atacó el flanco izquierdo con el debutante Víctor Rodríguez, quien profundizó de cabeza para que Postiga, en carrera y de diestras, cruzara a la red.

Una aventura en solitario que Armenteros finiquitó con un disparo ajustado al poste permitió nivelar al cuadro visitante, que no contó con el acierto de Avaro Cejudo en un remate posterior. Pero los andaluces nuevamente cobraron ventaja al filo del descanso, cuando Timor desvió con la cabeza un centro de Rodríguez, anotando gol en contra.

Hiperactivo, Rodríguez volvió a llamar a la puerta navarra tras el descanso, pero disparó fuera. Osasuna acusó los nervios en la segunda mitad, sobretodo en el torpe penal de Raoul Loe a José Movilla, convertido en el 3-1 por Galdeano.

Betis castigó la debilidad defensiva del Espanyol con un gol de cabeza de Paulao en un tiro libre. Tras el descanso, los visitantes impactaron dos balones en la madera, pero se desinflaron con la expulsión de Wakaso Mubarak.

Fernández puso en ventaja al Celta de tiro raso en contragolpe, pero el Getafe empató con una diana de Barrada. El suplente Park consiguió el tanto del triunfo en el primer balón que tocó. El visitante Alexis Ruano y el técnico celtiña, Paco Herrera, fueron expulsados en el tramo final.
