CIUDAD DE MÉXICO.- La Copa MX está llegando casi al final de su primera etapa, en la que prácticamente cinco escuadras ya amarraron su pase a la siguiente ronda, siendo la sorpresa la eliminación del campeón defensor Cruz Azul, luego de empatar su último encuentro a un gol con el equipo del Atlas, ya que su obligación era salir airoso para conseguir su pase.
A falta de cuatro partidos que se llevarán a cabo este miércoles (Jaguares-San Luis, Querétaro-América, Pachuca-Atlante y Tijuana-Pumas), se decidirá la calificación de los últimos tres conjuntos para completar a los ocho que disputarán la siguiente fase del certamen.
Las escuadras que ya se encuentran en la otra ronda de la Copa MX son Dorados, Neza y Necaxa, estos tres cuadros pertenecen a la Liga de Ascenso; mientras que Pachuca y Toluca, como representantes del Máximo Circuito, también amarraron su pase, no obstante a que al cuadro del estratega Hugo Sánchez le falta todavía jugar un encuentro.
Por el Grupo 1, el equipo de Dorados calificó con 13 unidades, dejando fuera al Morelia, León y Estudiantes; el Sector 2, lo encabezó Neza con 11 puntos, quedando en el camino Altamira, Cruz Azul y Atlas; el Grupo 3 fue para Pachuca con 12 -aún le falta disputar un juego-, eliminando a La Piedad, Atlante y UdeG.
El Sector 4 lo encabeza momentáneamente Necaxa con 14 unidades, teniendo posibilidades de calificar San Luis si llega a ganar en su último cotejo; sin embargo, Pumas Morelos y Jaguares ya no tienen posibilidad alguna; el Grupo 5 lo encabeza Correcaminos con 13, pero América (11) con la victoria o el empate calificaría, pues como el cuadro azulcrema le ganaría la serie al Querétaro sumaría otro punto para sumar 13, pero su mejor diferencia de goles lo pondría a la cabeza; por su parte Gallos y Veracruz están fuera.
El Grupo 6 lo lidera Mérida con 12 unidades; sin embargo, Tijuana aún tiene chance de avanzar si gana su partido, mientras que Pumas y Celaya quedaron eliminados; el Sector 7 fue para Toluca al sumar 12 unidades, dejando fuera a Puebla, Irapuato y Lobos Buap.
Así que solo quedan tres boletos por disputarse, los cuales podrían ser de América, Mérida y Correcaminos, ya que son los conjuntos que tienen las mayores posibilidades para obtenerlos.
