Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Chis., 14 Sep. (Notimex).- Chiapas aprovechó las fallas de Toluca, para conseguir un importante triunfo y de paso le quitó el invicto al cuadro mexiquense, al que derrotó 2-0, en partido que abrió la actividad de la fecha ocho del Torneo Apertura 2012 de la Liga MX.
Los goles de la victoria fueron obra del uruguayo Jorge Rodríguez, a los minutos 56 y 78. Con este resultado, el cuadro chiapaneco llegó a siete unidades, en tanto que el equipo "escarlata" se quedó con 17 puntos.
La salida de Guillermo Cantú de la presidencia de Chiapas tambaleaba más que nunca el proyecto de José Guadalupe Cruz al frente de Jaguares, que eran conscientes de esta situación y ofrecieron uno de sus mejores partidos de esta temporada.
Tras un inicio titubeante, en el que el superlíder tomó la posesión del esférico y buscó ir al frente, los de casa se hicieron del control de las acciones para pisar con fuerza el área del equipo mexiquense.
Este dominio, desafortunadamente para ellos no fue reflejado en el marcador, luego que la acción más peligrosa se dio al minuto 34 en una buena jugada del colombiano Luis Gabriel Rey que sacó un tiro-centro que Carlos Gerardo Rodríguez en su afán de despejar puso el esférico en la base del poste.
La tónica del encuentro se mantuvo para la parte complementaria en la que Chiapas pudo reflejar en el marcador ese mejor desempeño mostrado, algo que se combinó con un grave error del defensa argentino Diego Novaretti.
Todo se originó en un balón largo por derecha que el zaguero sudamericano no atacó bien, lo que aprovechó Jorge Rodríguez para definir de zurda al ángulo superior derecho, al minuto 56.
Con la desventaja, Toluca necesitaba reaccionar y así lo hizo, recuperó el esférico, pero con esa carencia de idea ofensiva que los ha caracterizado a lo largo de la campaña.
Mientras que Chiapas esperaba sacarle jugo a esos espacios que dejaba su rival, pero eso no fue necesario, ya que liquidó el partido gracias a un error de Alfredo Talavera.
A falta de 12 minutos para el final, el seleccionado mexicano no supo cómo controlar con las manos un balón que le dejó al "Japo" Rodríguez, quien solo tuvo que empujarlo al fondo de las redes, al minuto 78.
Este gol le dio rumbo definitivo a este encuentro con el que Chiapas sumó una victoria vital en la continuidad del "Profe" Cruz; en cambio, pese a que es el primer revés de Toluca, es evidente que el cuadro de Enrique Meza viene de más a menos y necesita retomar lo que ha dejado en el camino.
El arbitraje estuvo a cargo de Marco Antonio Rodríguez, quien tuvo una buena labor y no tuvo necesidad de mostrar tarjetas.
