La mexicana Patricia Valle ganó la medalla número 16 para su país en la prueba de natación femenil de 50 metros estilo libre S3, en los Juegos Paralímpicos Londres 2012.

Llegó en la tercera posición y eso le bastó para colgarse la presea de bronce con tiempo de 55.72 segundos.

El oro fue para la china Jiangbo Xia, quien hizo 48.11, con lo cual además impuso nuevo récord mundial, mientras que la plata fue para la ucraniana Olga Sviderska, quien terminó con 48:39.

La otra mexicana en la prueba, Haidee Viviana Aceves Pérez terminó en la sexta posición de la prueba con 1:09.99 minutos.
