GUADALAJARA, México.-El conjunto de Chivas continúa sin poder ganar en su estadio Omnilife en lo que va del Torneo Apertura 2012, en esta ocasión su futbol solamente le alcanzó para empatar a un gol con el equipo de Puebla; sin embargo, con este resultado el equipo rojiblanco continúa ubicándose en los últimos lugares de la tabla general del certamen.
A pesar de que Guadalajara volvió a tener más tiempo la esférica, no supo qué hacer con ella, sobre todo en la primera parte, pues no generó mucho en la portería y los pocos arribos que pudo hilvanar se quedaron en la zaga enemiga o en las manos del portero Hugo Hernández.
Mientras que Puebla, sin tampoco dar mucho, logró llevarse la ventaja con el gol de Jesús Chávez al minuto 32', quien en un tiro de esquina le ganó a su marcador (Christian Pérez) la posición y con fuerte frentazo venció a Luis Ernesto Michel para mandar el balón a las redes.
El cuadro tapatío no tuvo reacción ante el gol en contra y en la parte final de la primera mitad ya no pudo hacer nada para siquiera igualar las acciones.
Para el segundo tiempo, Chivas salió con mayor disposición y trató de aprovechar que la escuadra camotera le cedió toda la iniciativa; por lo que el timonel holandés John Van´t Schip mandó toda la carne al asador al hacer varias sustituciones, por lo que el equipo se vio mucho mejor en el ataque, pero sin todavía tener la profundidad requerida.
Chivas siguió insistiendo y se empezó a desesperar ante las buenas intervenciones del portero Hugo Hernández, pero fue hasta el minuto 82 que logró tener su recompensa con la anotación del empate, luego de una gran anotación del joven Luis Morales, quien en apenas su segundo juego en Primera División logró cabecear un centro por izquierda para mandar el balón al fondo.
Al final, el cuadro tapatío quiso el de la voltereta, pero el tiempo ya no le alcanzó, y el encuentro que dó sentenciado con la igualada a un tanto.
