Londres .- El campeón de la Liga Premier inglesa, Manchester City, mantiene paso invicto en el inicio de la temporada 2012-13 luego de imponerse 3-1 a Queens Park Rangers, con gran actuación del delantero argentino Carlos Tevez.
Obligados al triunfo ante su afición en el Etihad Stadium y para evitar que Chelsea ampliara su ventaja en la cima de la general, los dirigidos por el italiano Roberto Mancini se adelantaron en el marcador en el primer cuarto de hora.
A los 15 minutos apareció el marfileño Yaya Toure, quien con potente tiro venció al portero Robert Green para poner el 1-0 para los “citizens”, ventaja que conservaron hasta la finalización de la primera parte.
Ya en el complemento los de casa se vieron alcanzados gracias a “Bobby” Zamora, quien contrarremató de cabeza tras un error del cancerbero Joe Hart, quien no despejó de buena forma un disparo de Andrew Johnson, a los 59´.

Pero dos minutos después apareció Tevez, quien mandó una perfecta asistencia para el bosnio Edin Dzeko, quien sin marca remató con la testa para recuperar la ventaja, y ya en tiempo de compensación (93) Dzeko disparó y el “Apache” desvió para el 3-1 definitivo.
Con las bajas del argentino Sergio “Kun” Agüero, por lesión en la rodilla, y del italiano Mario Balotelli, quien será operado por miopía, Mancini sabe que cuenta con hombres importantes al ataque.
El City se ubica en el cuarto peldaño de la clasificación general con siete puntos, mismos que Swansea y West Bromwich, a dos del líder Chelsea, mientras que “QPR” aún no gana en esta temporada y apenas suma uno, en la parte baja de la tabla.
