GUADALAJARA, Jalisco.- Guiados por su jugador estrella Marco Fabián, quien logró un hat-trick, el equipo mexicano de Chivas logró una importante victoria en la Concachampions, luego de humillar al cuadro trinitario W Conecction 4-0, triunfo que lo mete a la pelea de su grupo para poder seguir avanzando en el certamen.
Pero a pesar del abultado resultado del conjunto tapatío, el partido no fue nada fácil, pues fue hasta el segundo tiempo que el cuadro azteca logró abrir el marcador, ya que durante el primer tiempo generó muy pocas posibilidades de gol y volvió a mostrar su irregularidad de juego que ha mostrado en sus últimos partidos.
La primera anotación del cotejo cayó al minuto 52, después de que Rafael Márquez sacó fuerte disparo que rechazó el portero Williams; sin embargo, el mediocampista Marco Fabián aprovechó para contrarrematar dentro del área y abrir el marcador.
Luego del gol, Chivas se plantó mejor en la cancha y se adueñó del partido, por lo que le fue fácil aumentar su ventaja al 64 por medio de su delantero Carlos Fierro, quien se avivó luego de un error del portero Williams para rematar de frente a una solitaria portería.
Ya con las dos anotaciones de ventaja, todo fue más fácil para la escuadra local, pues al minuto 67 y en tiempo de compensación (92), Marco Fabián consiguió su segunto y tercer goles, el primero de ellos fue un tiro cruzado y en el último quedó solo frente al meta, a quien no tuvo problemas para quitárselo y mandar al fondo el balón para sentenciar el marcador.
Con esta victoria, el equipo jalisciense llegó a tres unidades, una menos que el cuadro guatemalteco de Xelajú (4), y en el fondo se quedó el cuadro trinitario con uno.
