A 22 días de llevar acabo la sexta defensa de su título la imagen de Saúl Alvarez ya está en la fachada del MGM Grand de Las Vegas, Nevada, en donde este 15 de septiembre enfrentará al mexicoamericano Josesito López.

El monarca Superwelter del Consejo Mundial de Boxeo ya cumplió seis semanas en Santa Monica en donde se preparara para tan importante fecha.

Bajo las ordenes de la familia Reynoso, José y Eddie, El Canelo sigue entrenando con miras a obtener una preparación física que sea la clave de un triunfo claro ante un Josesito quien por primera vez experimentará en la división de los Superwelters.

"Lunes, miércoles y viernes boxea seis rounds en promedio con dos sparrings diferentes que tienen características similares a Josesito López", indicó Chepo Reynoso, quien se encuentra en la esquina del mexicano desde su debut en el 2005.

El equipo de Álvarez Barragán comentó que al momento el campeón tapatío de 22 años de edad comentó que lleva hasta el momento más de ochenta rounds de boxeo y que esperan terminar la preparación con cerca de 110.

Canelo tiene contemplado llegar a Las Vegas el 2 de septiembre y culminar la preparación en Nevada.

"Vamos con la firme idea de ganar y agradar al público para dejar en alto el nombre de México en el día de su independencia", finalizó Chepo Reynoso.
