PACHUCA, México.- El vicepresidente del conjunto azteca del Pachuca, Andrés Fassi, reconoció en entrevista para varios medios mexicanos que la escuadra inglesa del Manchester United tiene mucho interés en hacerse de los servicios del mediocampista Héctor Herrera, luego de pedirle a la directiva tuza un análisis del futbolista.

"El viernes hemos recibido un carta en la que solicitan información en referencia a Herrera, por lo que estamos trabajando en eso; sin embargo, lo que nos interesa en estos momentos es que, gracias a Dios, el jugador salió bien de su operación de la rodilla, por lo que en tres semanas estará a la par del plantel, mas seguiremos viendo las propuestas del extranjero", apuntó Fassi.

El jugador ya había mostrado su interés en jugar en el extranjero previo a la justa olímpica de Londres, en donde había señalado para el periódico RÉCORD que "este certamen olímpico es una gran oportunidad para todos los que buscamos un chance en el extranjero. Europa es mi objetivo. Me gustaría jugar en España o Inglaterra".

Así que lo señalado anteriormente por el directivo hidalguense solamente confirma que las versiones del acercamiento de la escuadra inglesa son ciertas; sin embargo, como el mismo Fassi lo dijo, "habrá que esperar una oferta formal para el posible traslado del jugador a la Premier League".

El buen futbol que mostró el ariete mexicano en menos de un año, en torneos como Esperanzas de Toulón, Juegos Panamericanos, Preolímpico y Juegos Olímpicos, de los cuales en todos salió campeón, le ha valido para que equipos importantes, como en este caso el Manchester United, estén al pendiente de él, incluso también se rumora que el Liverpool inglés ha mostrado su interés.

    El nuevo delantero de los Diablos llegó procedente de la escuadra del Arsenal, equipo con el que militó en ocho temporadas y con el que solo pudo ganar la Community Shield en 2004 y la FA Cup en 2005. El espigado delantero holandés de 1.88 m es un atacante rápido y que también puede jugar de extremo, es hábil en el regate y tiene una zurda bastante educada como ningún otro jugador. La escuadra del Manchester apenas será su tercer equipo.

Dentro de las características de este delantero punta se encuentra su rapidez y su capacidad para desmarcarse, pero una de las cosas que más gustó al cuadro inglés en su facilidad para definir. El 15 de agosto de este año se confirmó su pase por 5.5 millones de dólares. El joven atacante jugó para la Universidad de Chile desde el 2011.

    Joven promesa del futbol inglés, en el que varios equipos de la Premier League buscaban hacerse de sus servicios, como el Arsenal, pero finalmente el centrocampista firmó con los Diablos Rojos. Su último equipo fue el Alexandra Crewe, en el que gracias a sus impresionantes números fue nombrado la temporada pasada como el mejor jugador, luego de haber conseguido 16 goles. Tiene 18 años y mide 1.83 metros.

  • Shinji Kagawa

    El volante ofensivo japonés viene procedente del Borussia Dortmund, equipo con el que ganó en dos ocasiones la Bundesliga; con sus apenas 23 años y 1.72 metros, este elemento aportará a los comandados por Ferguson visión de juego, mucha creatividad y, por supuesto, anotaciones. Sin duda, sus habilidades ayudarán a lucir todavía más el esquema que gusta plantear el experimentado timonel.
