Ciudad de México - El presidente de la Liga MX, Decio de María, habló este lunes sobre las sospechas de dinero y actividades provenientes del narcotráfico en el balompié azteca, que detonaron la semana pasada por información surgida en Colombia.
En su conferencia de prensa de los lunes, el mandamás del fútbol mexicano profesional aseguró que la liga está abierta a cualquier investigación de las autoridades mexicanas, aunque hasta el momento no han sido requeridos.
"No estamos enterados de que exista alguna investigación en curso, obviamente que en este caso y en cualquier otro, la Liga MX está abierta y a solicitud de lo que dispongan autoridades si es el caso", dijo.
Y es que la semana anterior RCN Noticias de Colombia informó que autoridades buscaban inversiones de capos de la droga en el fútbol mexicano, lo que revivió un tema que surgió en 2003.
De María hizo referencia a tal información y se dijo sorprendido de que vuelva a hablarse de eso, años después.
A la pregunta expresa sobre si la Liga MX está blindada y puede asegurar que ningún miembro del crimen organizado puede vulnerar los filtros de seguridad y lavar dinero, el directivo se mostró reservado:
"Es muy difícil asegurar al 100% que no hay, el tema del narcotráfico es algo muy delicado actualmente y en cualquier empresa puede haber. Nosotros seguimos al pie de la letra nuestros códigos y cuadernos de cargos de todos los afiliados, pero de ahí a asegurar que es infalible, pues no".
"Me sorprende que no seamos requeridos por las autoridades mexicanas, esto es una nota, no un tema oficial, pero si afecta la percepción del público sobre la liga", concluyó.
