Carlos Vela, Jonathan Dos Santos y Javier 'Chicharito' Hernández no acudieron con la selección mexicana que ganó la medalla de oro en los Juegos Olímpicos Londres 2012 para buscar un lugar en sus clubes, pero de poco les sirvió, al menos esta primera jornada de hostilidades en el fútbol del Viejo Continente.

Los tres jugadores mexicanos que se perdieron el momento más grande del balompié de su país, fueron prácticamente ignorados por sus clubes.

Javier Hernández tiene un panorama muy oscuro en el Manchester United, donde recién fue contratado Robin Van Persie. Este lunes el equipo rojo perdió 0-1 ante el Everton y el famoso 'Chicharito' no fue considerado ni para el banquillo de suplentes.

Bajo el pretexto de que Alex Ferguson quería que descansara, el ariete jalisciense desechó la invitación a formar parte de los refuerzos del equipo Sub 23 que actuó en Londres.

Carlos Vela, delantero de la Real Sociedad, jugó 25 minutos en la estrepitosa derrota de su equipo 5-1 ante el Barcelona el domingo en la fecha uno de la Liga de España. Jonathan Dos Santos tampoco figuró con los culés y según información que publica el Diario Récord, el nuevo refuerzo, Alex Song, se quedaría con el número 12 que ya le fue asignado.

Vela y Dos Santos abiertamente desecharon de voz propia el llamado azteca, sin importar que ambos habían sido castigados por actos de indisciplina en una ocasiones distintas anteriormente.

En contraparte el 80% de los seleccionados mexicanos que llegaron a la Liga MX fueron titulares con sus equipos.
