NUEVA YORK (AP) — David Beckham, apenas vestido con calzoncillos, se está apareciendo en Nueva York... en forma de estatuas metálicas de tres metros (10 pies) de alto.

Las enormes esculturas se montaron como parte de la campaña publicitaria de la nueva línea de ropa interior del astro británico del fútbol para la cadena de tiendas H&M.

El diario The Daily News dice que tres estatuas fueron colocadas adentro de la sucursal de H&M en el centro de Manhattan. También hay una en Central Park y otra en South Street Seaport.

Dos estatuas más se colocaron en Los Angeles y una en San Francisco.

Los grandes Beckham permanecerán en exhibición hasta el 31 de agosto.
