Jodie Foster defiende a Kristen Stewart

Después de su escándalo al serle infiel a Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart tiene quien la defienda públicamente, y es alguien muy importante en Hollywood: Jodie Foster, quien actuara con ella en la cinta de 2002 "Panic Room".

Foster, ganadora dos veces del Oscar, escribió un artículo para el sitio The Daily Beast en donde defiende a Kristen y acusa a los medios por molestarla tanto desde que admitió su romance con el director Rupert Sanders.

"Todos hemos visto los encabezados de las revistas. 'Kristen Stewart engañó a Robert'. Todos hemos visto de repente esas páginas de chismes, con las fotos de Kris y Rob", escribe Jodie, añadiendo que "raramente consideramos las infancias que estamos destruyendo en el proceso".

Foster, de 49 años, señala que ha estado en el mundo del espectáculo desde que tenía tres años y no tiene "memoria de una infancia fuera del ojo público", pero que se ha "neuróticamente adaptado al deporte de gladiadores que es esta cultura de celebridades, y la crueldad de una vida donde eres un blanco fácil".

Insiste que si fuera una joven actriz en estos tiempos, renunciaría al medio, ya que piensa que no podría sobrevivir emocionalmente. Duda que podría superar a los "paparazzi asomándose por las ventanas, el acoso en internet, las humillaciones en público, que llevarían a una sobredosis en la habitación de un hotel o llenando su cara con agujas hasta ser irreconocible hasta para ella misma".

Foster se acuerda de los cinco meses que pasó filmando "Panic Room" con Stewart, recordando a la niña que "no estaba consciente de la cámara, y estaba, por supuesto, en su propio mundo".

Pero ahora, habla de ella imaginándose su vida rodeada de fotógrafos:

"Una mujer hermosa camina por la acera ella sola, con la cabeza baja, las manos en puños. Camina veloz, intentando sobrepasar a los hombres con cámaras negras que se le enciman todo el tiempo. 'Kristen, ¿cómo te sientes?' '¡Kristen, sonríe!', 'Hey hey, ¿le sacaste la foto?' 'Sí, sí, la tengo'. La chica no llora. No mira hacia arriba. Ya aprendió. Mantiene la vista en el suelo, con anteojos de sol, las manos en los bolsillos. No habla. No mira. No llora".

Foster termina su artículo en Daily Beast como un mensaje para Kristen, aconsejándole que confíe menos en la gente, que calcule sus pasos y que sobreviva - "Ese es el definitivo mensaje de 'jódanse todos'", culmina.
