NYON, Suiza (AP) — El argentino Lionel Messi y Andrés Iniesta, así como el portugués Cristiano Ronaldo del Real Madrid, fueron nominados por la UEFA para su premio al mejor jugador, informó el organismo.

Messi se llevó el galardón el año pasado y tuvo una prolífica temporada 2011-12, en la que anotó 50 goles con el Barcelona en la liga española. También fue el mejor goleador de la Liga de Campeones por cuarta campaña consecutiva, con un récord de 14 dianas.

El español Iniesta, compañero suyo en el Barsa, disfrutó otra buena temporada en el club y a nivel internacional. Desempeñó un papel fundamental en la defensa de España de su título en la Eurocopa, donde fue elegido el mejor futbolista del torneo.

Cristiano anotó 46 goles para el Real Madrid, que obtuvo su primer título de la liga española en cuatro años. También anotó tres veces como capitán de Portugal en la Eurocopa.

El ganador será anunciado el 30 de agosto.
