LONDRES .- Rusia disputará la final del vóleibol de hombres, frente a Brasil o Italia, luego de imponerse el viernes 2-1 a la selección de Bulgaria en los Juegos Olímpicos de Londres.

Los rusos, que ocupan el segundo lugar en el ranking mundial, se medirán el domingo a los primeros (Brasil) o a los sextos, en el duelo por el oro.

La selección rusa busca su cuarta presea de oro en este deporte, que se sumó al programa olímpico en 1964. Los rusos han ganado los 10 partidos que han disputado frente a Bulgaria en las Olimpíadas.

Maxim Mikhaylov, líder anotador en Londres, totalizó 25 puntos, y Rusia se impuso por 25-21, 25-15, 23-25, 25-23 a Bulgaria, novena del escalafón, que disputará el encuentro por la medalla de bronce.
