México,18Jul. (Notimex).- El director mexicano de cine y televisión, Raúl Araiza, se encuentra hospitalizado debido a que lucha contra el cáncer de próstata que le fue detectado en marzo pasado, confirmó Norma Herrera.
La actriz, quien fue su primera esposa y madre de sus hijos Raúl y Armando Araiza, dijo que siempre han llevado una buena relación, por lo que hace unos días acudió a visitarlo al nosocomio para brindarle todo su apoyo y cariño.

"La magnifica relación que tenemos no ha cambiado ni va a cambiar jamás. Mis hijos siempre lo ven, toda la vida lo he admirado y le tengo un profundo respeto", expresó Herrera en entrevista para el programa de radio "Fórmula Notas".
Al insistir en el tema, apuntó: "Está enfermito y obviamente he platicado con él, la relación es normal y lo demás ya no me corresponde a mí. He tenido profundo respeto, profunda admiración a don Raúl, además es el padre de mis hijos".
La información fue revelada este martes por la revista de circulación nacional TV Notas, quienes aseguran que el cáncer se le ha extendido a los huesos. Tanto Raúl como Armando Araiza, ambos actores, no se han pronunciado al respecto y por el momento, no desean hacerlo, explicaron sus representantes.
Hace unas horas, éste ultimo, escribió en su cuenta de Twitter:
"Es hora de borrar las lagrimas y pintar sonrisas!!!! ?#Animochinga".
De acuerdo con la publicación, el mal que aqueja a Raúl Araiza, de 76 años, hizo metástasis, es decir, el foco canceroso se propagó a otros órganos.
