Ciudad de México - El técnico de la selección mexicana que participará en los Juegos Olímpicos Londres 2012, Luis Fernando Tena, no lamenta ni extraña a los jugadores que no pudieron o no quisieron formar parte del contingente. Así lo aseguró este jueves luego de la práctica en el Centro de Alto Rendimiento.

"Con todo respeto para los que no están acá, ya ni nos acordamos de ellos, no lamento que no estén", dijo el 'Flaco' en conferencia de prensa.

Y es que en el camino al nombramiento del plantel final tres jugadores desistieron de vestirse con la playera verde por diferentes motivos: Javier 'Chicharito' Hernández no recibió el permiso de su club, Manchester United. Carlos Vela y Jonathan Dos Santos, rechazaron la convocatoria para buscar acomodo en sus clubes en España la próxima campaña.

Sobre la ausencia de Giovani Dos Santos en los primeros días de concentración y tras una serie de especulaciones, Tena reveló que recibió un permiso especial que lo desafecta hasta el próximo lunes, pues estará arreglando su situación contractual con su nuevo equipo, cuyo nombre no quiso dar a conocer.

"Tiene que ir, tiene que firmar papeles, arreglar cosas, nos pide que quiere realizar su salida del Tottenham", aseveró el estratega.

"Es mucho mejor que esté tranquilo, mentalmente, cuando nos dijo, no tuvimos duda, le dijimos vé, hazlo. Tal vez no esté físicamente en su mejor condición, pero si viene contento, va a jugar mejor", concluyó.

El arranque de los trabajos del 'Tri' ha estado lleno de problemáticas, pues además de Dos Santos, los cuatro jugadores de Chivas retrasaron su llegada tres días por estar en pretemporada en España.
