El Arsenal de Sarandí se consagró este domingo por primera vez en su historia como campeón del futbol argentino al vencer por 1-0 al Belgrano, mientras que el Boca Juniors, ganador del torneo anterior, quedó relegado al tercer puesto al perder por 3-1 contra el All Boys.

El equipo de Sarandí aprovechó el empate 2-2 del Tigre con el Independiente para conseguir su primera estrella en 55 años de vida. Con los resultados registrados en esta última jornada, Banfield y Olimpo descendieron directamente a la segunda división.

En tanto, el San Lorenzo se salvó del descenso directo al vencer por 3-1 al San Martín de San Juan y por ende, disputará una serie de promoción con el Instituto de Córdoba. Luchará con el Rosario Central por quedarse en la misma instancia.

El delantero de Tigre, Carlos Luna, fue el goleador del torneo argentino con 12 tantos, seguido por Gastón Caprari, de San Martín de San Juan, con 8 logros.
